


Laura Scripture
Principal & CEO
Laura founded Summit Construction Management in 2014 in response to the need for dynamic and innovative thinkers in the real estate project management industry. Laura’s 16 years of construction industry experience include running her family's development company in Virginia, working for a General Contractor in San Francisco and three years with a small Construction Management group. She has represented a wide variety of tenants in the San Francisco Bay Area and has found her passion in ensuring client happiness, while delivering projects that are on schedule and within budget. Additional skills include client, vendor and subcontractor coordination, scheduling, cost controls, project documentation, and project closeout. Before entering the construction industry Laura attended Middlebury College where she was Captain of the Ski Team and a 2 time All American.

Kevin Bennett
Vice President
Kevin brings over 10 years of Construction Management to the team. He began his career on the General Contractor side where he was exposed to a variety of TI projects, including corporate campuses, commercial kitchens, historical museums, and sky bridges connecting existing buildings. He then transitioned to the development side at Boston Properties where he became a Sr. Project Manager and was instrumental in the development of state-of-the-art office space throughout properties such as the Embarcadero Center and Salesforce Tower. Kevin brings to the team a powerful combination of skills with his knowledge of Leases, Building Systems and budgeting. He knows how to build a successful project while ensuring the team has fun working together. Outside the office, Kevin is an avid traveler and scuba diver, car enthusiast, college football fanatic, golfer and longtime skier.

Annie Wilson
Senior Project Manager
Annie comes to Summit CM with over 15 years of experience in Commercial Interiors Industry. With a degree in design and a passion for organization and construction Annie brings a special balance to each project she touches. Annies ability to integrate herself with her clients and build an in depth understanding of needs gives her the tools to build successful teams. Annie is skilled at developing complex schedules and budgets and understands the value of being able to identify risk, scope gaps and program requirements to ensure fully vetted solutions are proposed to clients. When Annie is not busy solving client changes she can be found hiking with her lab or skiing in Sun Valley.

China Botsford
Senior Project Manager
China is a highly responsive and proactive Project Manager known for her dedication to client relationships and seamless team coordination. She has expertly managed complex Tenant Improvement projects across the Bay Area, including the SVB Experience Center, which involved historic site considerations and a change of use, and the transformation of Archer Aviation’s office into a sophisticated R&D manufacturing space. With a background in managing large-scale commercial furniture accounts with nationwide real estate portfolios, China brings a unique blend of account management expertise and project management skills, consistently delivering successful outcomes in corporate office projects.

Jessica Fong
Assistant Project Manager
Jessica brings extensive expertise in Commercial Property Management and Operations Management, with a proven track record on high-impact Tenant Improvement (TI) projects for clients like Airbnb, Nuveen, The San Francisco Gift & Jewelry Center, Tesla, and the Social Security Administration of Oakland. She is skilled in fostering collaboration and open communication across all project stakeholders, ensuring a seamless and unified approach to each project. Jessica is dedicated to delivering high-quality results that align with clients' objectives, creating a construction experience that is both efficient and enjoyable for all involved. Beth Deye
Project Manager
Beth brings a multidisciplinary background to the team with 11 years of experience in commercial interior design and six years in architectural sales. After completing a bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture, she began her career as an interior designer in Atlanta, where she built an extensive portfolio including large corporate, international, and hospitality projects. She has a great talent for bringing custom designs to reality while meeting budgets, schedules, and manufacturing constraints. After moving to San Francisco in 2011, she focused on corporate interiors as a senior designer. A love of textiles brought her to a large commercial flooring manufacturer where she was responsible for managing major Bay Area accounts. Her passion for aesthetics and love of furniture are balanced with knowledge of procurement and construction details. She is also LEED certified. On the weekends, Beth and her husband can be found traveling the California coast with their three small children. ​

Kate Mehl
Project Manager
Kate is a results driven PM who strives to bring order and leadership to projects. She has a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget. Kate loves to work collaboratively with all members on a project to foster teamwork and open communication and believes construction can and should be fun! Kate has worked on a variety of projects from phased TI’s in an occupied floor, LL turnkey, full gut & builds, to large campus projects. Kate has a B.A. in Political Science from Seattle University and cut her teeth in the industry working on ground up UCSF Medical Centers in Mission Bay as a project estimator & project engineer before making the jump to the CM world. She is a San Francisco native who when not on the job site can be found on her road bike or at various Bay Area beaches with her Terrier Teddy.

Amber McCarthy
Director of Enablement
Amber brings nearly 15 years of design and client success experience. Her knowledge of workplace design & strategy comes from her years spent with the top commercial furniture manufacturer and working alongside many SF Bay Area workplace leaders. With a degree in Interior Design and Business Administration, from California State University, Chico, coupled with years of industry experience in a variety of roles, Amber is able to provide a unique perspective to the team. She enjoys the challenges each new project brings and is able to utilize her creativity to help clients realize their project goals. Additionally, as director of enablement she plays a crucial role in supporting and executing various initiatives to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization. Outside of work, Amber spends her time with her family and enjoys hiking the Atlanta mountains and trails, where she resides full-time.

Scott Surface
Senior Project Manager
Scott has been with Summit Construction Management for over 8 years and has applied previous construction and management positions into his current role. Scott has develop a unique understanding of client drivers with a sensitivity towards AV, IT and Security needs. Above and beyond building out tenant improvements for office space has worked on complex project for MDF rooms, All-Hands Spaces as well as Sound Studio Spaces. His ability to focus the big picture while diving into the detail with the client and vendors to implement solutions tailored is fantastic. His unique set of organizational skills allows him to track details while keeping a keen eye on the schedule & budget. Scott is often working remotely from Santa Barbara where in his spare time he can be found surfing, playing guitar, or hanging with his baby boy Atlas!

Sierra
Head of Happiness
Sierra is Summit's newest and most popular team member. With a lively spirit and ever-wagging tail, she brings a playful dimension to the team. Sierra is a quick learner and has already mastered a series of valuable skills including sit, lay down, high-five and cardboard box demolition. When she's not sniffing around new office spaces, Sierra enjoys walks in the East Bay and eating lots of carrots. Always ready for a good belly rub, Sierra is quick to meet new friends and share a lick or a snuggle.
